To make wood pellets, the first step is to collect the raw materials. There is a wide scope of raw materials that can be made into pellets: sawdust, straw, grass, weeds, withered leaves and flowers, and many other forestry waste, agro waste, house refuse, and animal manure, etc. This step will be easy for everyone.

Secondly, you should have a preliminary process to raw materials, mainly on their moisture and size. Usually, the need of moisture for pelletizing is ranging from 14% to 18%, so that you have to dry the raw material with a dryer or naturally to certain moisture for perfect pelletizing result. As large size of raw materials may cause accumulation or damage to the wood pellets machine, so you have to crush them to small particles according to the specification of die holes.
